What do you use your bike for? Chances are it’s not for carrying large amounts of filtered water, but that’s what the Hydrofiets cargo bike does. Tom LaBonty is a Portland-area builder of cargo bikes. When his neighbor Ethan Hewett approached him about a large ride that could carry a lot of weight, Tom set to work. Tom is giving a two-day cargo bike building workshop in Dallas Oct 13th-14th as part of Cyclesomatic 2012. Read more at BikePortland.
