There’s a lot of competition in the off-road trailer market, so we really like seeing a brand that takes the time to get out there and test and understand how their product performs in the backcountry! Here’s a short video by Off Grid Trailers of their trip to Moab after Overland Expo Flagstaff this year.

MOAB MAY 2022:

After a year of design and development we are excited to be able to conduct some real-world testing on our all-new OGT Evolution Series by Fabtech Motorsports independent trailing arm suspension in Moab Utah.

After Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, Arizona, the Off Grid Trailers team went north to check out Moab, Utah on their way home to Canada. The team was led by Chris Walker with Overland Training Canada and documented by 5 Star Media. The Off Grid Trailers Team consisted of had Duane Leedell, OGT President in his Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 towing a Pando 2.0 teardrop camper trailer, Denny Sexsmith in his Jeep Gladiator Rubicon towing an Expedition 2.0 overland camping trailer, as well as Kory & Chris in a Toyota 4Runner towing a Switchback S overland adventure trailer. Joining the OGT team was J.P and Erin Martin who are OGT Location Ambassadors in San Antonio Texas, driving their Toyota Landcruiser towing an Expedition 2.0 as well as Adam Vass, an OGT Customer and supporter in his Toyota 4Runner towing his Expedition 2.0 on 35-inch tires.

The overlanding journey started bright and early from the KOA Campground in Moab to ensure all batteries were topped off and water tanks were filled. After a quick drive out of town the crew was on their first trail for the day. Day 1 consisted of a few different trails through Moab leading to an epic camp spot overlooking an incredible canyon. Day 2 was another epic day out on some really cool trails with vast landscapes and beautiful views before ending up at the bottom of a canyon for another incredible camp spot. Day 3 was on track for another epic day of trails leading to sand dunes but was unfortunately cut short when we had a catastrophic failure to one of the tow vehicles. While the trip was cut short, Moab did not disappoint. The OGT Team will be back in Moab before long for another epic Off Grid Adventure.
